Very Rare Early 60s Selmer Treble and Bass 50watt Valve Head With Crocodile Covering. From the early 60's with crocodile-Reptile covering, with winking green eyes! The T'n'B 50 was probably the longest-running Selmer amplifier in production and certainly it sold very well. The T'n'B 50 would appear to be physically identical to the Bassmaster 50 apart from the model designation on the front panel, and very similar inside with the same valve line-up of ECC83 (initially 4 - but 3 in later models), EL34 (2) & GZ34 (1). Both appear to be multi-purpose amplifiers suitable for bass and/or guitar. This simple, functional and reliable amplifier occupies sonic territory somewhere between Vox and Marshall and can emulate both, probably the reason for it's popularity. This amp has Ace tone, colour, sound and MEGA VOLUME!

The amp has two discrete channels, Bass and Treble, each with a low- and high-level input. The amp’s only controls are Volume, Treble, and Bass for each channel, along with a global Top Cut knob. A power switch and pilot lamp round out the front panel with the noticeable lack of a standby switch. The rear panel is very minimal as well. British Bulgin AC socket, a voltage selector, a couple of speaker output jacks and an output impedance selector with 3.75, 7.5 and 15 Ω settings. This and is definitely old-school British! And LOUD!!

Blackheart Handsome Devil BH15-112 Amp Designed and prototyped in a one car garage in Austin, Texas, by non other than amp savant, Pyotr Belov, the Handsome Devil evokes classic tube tones more than reminiscent of the great American and British, plug and play workhorses that laid the foundation for Rock and Roll guitar tone starting in the '60s.

Just like it's predecessor and little brother, the Little Giant 5, the BHE Handsome Devil is overbuilt to last with features and components you'd expect on a hand built, much more expensive piece of gear. Both the head and combo feature dual power modes allowing the Gods of Rock to dial in responsiveness and headroom in either 15W or 7W output. Separate Master and Level controls put both awesome power and responsibility in the unwashed hands of mankind. 3 Bands of well-tuned EQ make for nearly infinite voicing.

From big fat overdrive to plucky, just-about-to-squeal if you hit me a little harder grease, the Handsome Devil covers classic tube tone with as few knob turns as possible through a well thought out set of features in a tough as a tank package.

As expected, you get the simple elegance and robust component specs that mark BHE's designs. From 1W, carbon-film resistors in the signal path to beefy, double sided pcb with 2 oz traces, 16 gauge, precision folded and welded chassis and mutli-ply, classically joined cabinetry, Blackheart is as serious about quality as they are about tone.

Very Rare 60s Selmer Treble and Bass 50watt Valve Head From the Blue/Black Period.

From the early 60's The T'n'B 50 was probably the longest-running Selmer amplifier in production.

The Mk II version followed the croc-skin models, and changes were largely cosmetic. Cabinet covering was changed to black vinyl, the front being covered in a very attractive white/blue on black patterned grillcloth similar to designs used by WEM and Vox at that time, with a large light-blue Selmer logo. Handle is leather with Vox-type mounting brackets, and vent grilles are no longer used as ventilation to the back is improved. The chassis was reversed so as to be positioned at the top rather than the bottom of the cab, the control panel being simply inverted 180 degrees to be top-mounted.

Normal and Bass channel each have 2 inputs and controls for volume, treble and bass, and an on/off switch and pilot light are provided. On the rear of the chassis are voltage selector, 2 slo-blo fuses and 15 & 7.5 ohm speaker output sockets. Dimensions 21" x 8.1/2" x 8", valve complement ECC83 (3), EL34 (2), GZ34 (1).

This simple, functional and reliable amplifier occupies sonic territory somewhere between Vox and Marshall and can emulate both, probably the reason for it's popularity. Priced at 55 gns (about 3 months wage's)

This amp has tone, colour, sound and volume! comes with original selmer cover.
