Ashdown MAG C210T Combo The MAG C210T-300 2 x 10 in. + tweeter combo features a potent new fan-cooled 307 watts RMS power section. Rotary bass, middle and treble controls are supplemented by smaller rotary controls providing 15dB of cut and boost at 220Hz and 1.6kHz, providing a comprehensive 5 band EQ section. Additionally, front panel push switches for Bright and Deep settings provide instant access to attacking and warm, rounded sounds respectively and, on the subject of low-end response, the trademark Ashdown sub-harmonic generator is ready and able to deliver truck loads of earth moving tone if called upon. Inputs are provided for active and passive instruments and the front panel also features an effects send and return, a tuner/line output and a balanced DI output for direct connection to a mixing console.

All MAG combos have extension speaker outputs and are loaded with Ashdown BlueLine speakers for exceptional attack, clarity and low-end performance. Protection is provided by tough black carpet covering and new steel grilles, while the amplifier chassis is constructed from light yet strong, heat-dissipating magnesium alloy for 'roadie-free' portability. And, of course, the famous Ashdown VU meter remains central to the cool look of these great, value for money bass amplifiers. No Post Pick-up in store item only.

It's all about tone. The SVT-3PRO's Frequency control allows you to select the center frequency for the Midrange control, giving you a choice of five distinct "voices" for the Midrange. The center frequencies are 220Hz, 450Hz, 800Hz, 1.6kHz and 3kHz. And if that's not enough, you can use the 9-Band Graphic EQ to custom tailor your sound even more. Or use the EQ to set up a footswitchable "second channel" for your show-stopping bass solo.

The SVT-3PRO is designed for the player who wants SVT tone and performance (with a few modern enhancements) in a convenient rackmount design. Robert Trujillo (Metallica) and Les Claypool (Primus) are just a couple of the world-class artists that depend on the SVT-3PRO to get the job done, day in and day out.

TC Electronic 1140 HS Equaliser / Preamp and Amp Head
  • TC Electronic 1140 HS Equaliser / Preamp and Amp Head

£399.00

Hear we have a TC Electronic 1140 HS Equaliser / Preamp and Amp Laney 150M Bass Head, connected, racked up and ready to go First is the TC 1140 HS, this is a mono rackmount equaliser with a built-in preamplifier with up to 20 dB gain. The unbalanced input impedance is set deliberately high, so there’s no loss of high-end when direct-injecting guitars & basses, or synths & other keyboards. It also has a balanced input on an XLR connector.

The 1140 preamp has Input Gain (+/- 20 dB), Output (0-6) and a peak-reading LED meter. Unusually, it has an EQ Match gain control to allow gain matching between the flat & EQ’d signals and to help with gain staging. The eq section has a non-latching in / out toggle switch and an external bypass footswitch socket on the back panel. EQ status (in / out) is indicated by different levels of brightness of the power on LED

The EQ section has sweepable EQ bands in the typical TC fashion with Center (frequency), Bandwidth (Q) and Function (boost / cut) controls. The four bands cover 20 Hz – 2 kHz, 50 Hz – 5 kHz, 100 Hz – 10 kHz and 200 Hz – 20 kHz so there’s plenty of overlap. Each band has its own Overload LED making it easy to spot overloads caused by large amounts of boost.

Most studio equalisers assume a nominal signal level of +4 dBm and have no gain controls. TC goes to the other extreme – the 1140 assumes input levels may vary by up to 40 dB, that boost and or cut may change signal level significantly and that any EQ band might be pushed into overload – a fair assumption when 20db of boost or cut are available. This makes the 1140 ideal for live situations, for instruments with widely varying output levels, or for situations where large amounts of EQ may be required.
Then we have the Lanay 150m Bass head. Combined together creating a warm bottom end with bags of headroom. (will sell separately) TC £299 Laney £100

Here we have a 1980s GP7 1x15 combo and is one of the first that they made. No tolex/carpet/vinyl covering, this bad boy is bare laminate marine play painted black (the idea being you could ding it on tour and then touch it up after - nice!). 150 of the most powerful trace watts you could possibly imagine. The power amp is 300 watts but ticks over at 150 unless you add an 8 ohm cab... god bless your ears if you wish to do so. Its mind numbingly loud! early users of the gp-7 were John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin and Brian Helicopter of punk band The Shapes. Tone wise, this thing is what invented 'trace tone'. Glassy highs, stomach shattering lows and the pre shape lets you burst through the mix at your hearts desire. I've hired this out from the shop on a few occasions and its gone down a treat! Its a 575 watts RMS bass amp head designed to satisfy both bass-purists and tech-heads alike. A single input is switchable for passive and active instruments with a blend of solid state and dual triode tube preamps stages which can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm and overdriven tones. Because of the weight posting is out of the question so this item is a pick-up only. Thank you.
